One thing I love about Arizona is the sky. The bright blue sky. I just love this picture of this beautiful family surrounded by nothing but sky, sky, sky.

While the blue sky is certainly beautiful, the lack of clouds is not always a photographers best friend. This family portrait session was shot in the late afternoon – when the light is at its finest. When clients contact us to schedule their family portrait sessions, I definitely encourage a late afternoon appointment when available. The light is just perfect. When our schedule or theirs does not allow, the next best time for an outdoor portrait session is in the morning, of course with the super sunshine here in Arizona, the earlier the better.

I love this little boy’s smile. I have a new appreciation for cute kids smiles, Isabella recently lost a front tooth!
