Hi All, Going through my old digital shoebox the other day I uncovered a few shots I have not shown in a long time. They are from the fabled days of film. Film was a way of storing captured images that existed more than a year ago. I mention this because I meet people that have never used film. I meet even more professionals who have never developed a roll of film or experienced the wonder of a print appearing, as if by magic, from a blank piece of paper. It is of course the mark of technology, but there is, I feel, a certain tangible quality to the craft that can not be replaced by the computer. This sense of loss is why I try to stay in touch with the photographic past in various ways.
I'll stop lamenting the loss and proceed to show some of my older film work. Some of it may spur a few more comments than our more recent posts. Don't hold back. We want to hear from you. Enjoy.
