I just read on Martha Stewart's wedding blog that J Crew is opening a new retail store on Madison Ave in NYC - the store is exclusively a bridal boutique! It appears that the J Crew Bridal Boutique is having their Grand Opening on June 2nd. We'll be in NY later that month - I can't wait to take a peek! I know I have no need for a wedding gown, but I am a big fan of admiring the latest styles (stylish and affordable on Madison Ave - those two words usually do not go hand in hand!) I'm just curious - where were the well priced, classic wedding dress stores when I lived in Manhattan and was getting married? My mom would have been very pleased to have come across this very well priced J Crew store! (Oh well, thanks Mom - both Courtney and I owe you a small fortune for our wedding dress purchases!)
Here is the blog post on Martha Stewart's the Bride's Guide by Darcy Miller:
"So I really hope all of you brides who are in or near NYC will meet me June 2nd from 5:30-8:00 at the new (and first ever) entirely bridal J.Crew store (769 Madison Avenue) -- it has EVERYTHING a bride could dream of -- even if you have your gown, there's bridesmaid dresses, menswear, outfits for kids, party dresses (which are amazing!), accessories, vintage veils, and more! Plus you get a little parting gift from Martha Stewart Weddings and J.Crew. Space is limited so make sure you RSVP soon! RSVP to KATE@JCREW.COM."
