Yesterday I was asked by a client – how do you know when a photo should be B&W or color?

When we are shooting with film and the cameras are pre loaded with B&W or color film – you have to determine which camera to use when taking the photo. Sometimes you see the photo ahead of time in B&W or color. You have a vision for the photo being taken. But sometimes you know that a photo will look good both ways. And when its time to edit, you make this determination based on the feel, the moment and of course what just looks better. Some photos look so much better as B&W and others just need to be color. And some look good both ways.

This is one of those times.
